Design a commemorative logo for the 100th Anniversary of the Winnipeg Executives Association along with a card introducing the new logo, digital ads, assets for social media and the organization’s website, and write and design a logo standards guide.
design rationale
The logo design is subtly inspired by luxury timepieces, which bring classic elements and careful craftsmanship into contemporary business settings. It uses a combination of a classic serif typeface (Libre Bodoni) and a modern sans serif (Jost) to weave together tradition and innovation. The contrast between the thick and thin elements of the fonts create dynamism within the stable rectangular shape of the logo while conveying timeless success and confident leadership.
